[English Assignment] Dialogue About Global Warming

Vega : Good morning audience, you're watching in the Indonesia Morning Show  with me, Vega and my partner

Laras : Laras. I'll present to you about the hot news for today and the news is about Global Warming

Vega : yes, that’s right! To better understand these events, we’ll talk with environmental’s minister and the student form UGM University

Laras : okay, give applause to our first  special guest, Mr. Rio Ray

Vega : hello Mr. Rio Ray, How are you?

Rio : great!

Vega : okay then... our second special guest, Miss Kristina Lamtiur. Please welcome and give applause to her

Laras : hello Miss Kristina, how are you?

Kristina : I’m fine, thanks

Laras : okay let go to the point, what’s your opinion about global warming? Maybe Mr. Rio can answer first, please

Rio : I think that Global Warming is condition where temperature of the earth to be increase so many calamities in the world is increasing.

Vega : yes, how about you miss Kristina?

Kristina : Global warming is the rise in the average temperature of Earth's atmosphere and oceans since the late 19th century and its projected continuation

Laras : yes, I agree with your opinion

Rio : but I have more opinion about global warming also can give negative impact

Vega : negative impact? Can you give me some examples?

Rio : For example, changing precipitation patterns and prolonged heat can create drought. A warming atmosphere also holds more moisture, so the chance of extreme rainfall and flooding continues to rise in some regions with rain or snow.

Laras : what the effects of global warming for humans?

Kristina : Changes in temperature and precipitation under global warming are likely to lead to other effects that threaten human health and safety.

Vega : what causes of global warming?

Kristina : there are many kind, for examples, green house effect, industry pollution, transportation pollution, fire of the forest, mountain of rubbish and excetra

Rio : I’m agree with you

Laras : why do you think that the mountain of rubbish also can give effect to global warming?

Rio : as I know that rubbish will emerge bad smell that can burst out methane can attenuate the ozon layer

Vega : you are as the student that is responsible for this world, what can you do to solve this global warming?

Kristina : Save electricity and reduce global warming by turning off lights when you leave a room, and using only as much light as you need. And remember to turn off your television, video player, stereo and computer when you're not using them.
